After a while, I am reading "The Science of Getting Rich" by Wallace D. Wattles (rather listening audio recorded version from LibraVox during commute by car) .. and getting reminded of this statement is very powerful Nature is friendly to your plans. (on Page 24 in the PDF; in Chapter 5 "Increasing Life") I read below NEWS recently and I felt - WOW 

Crops irrigated with wastewater store drugs in their leaves 

Scientists discovered that crops irrigated with wastewater mostly stash trace pharmaceuticals in their leaves rather than the parts we eat.

Summary: Scientists studying crops irrigated with treated wastewater discovered that trace pharmaceuticals often collect in plant leaves. Tomatoes, carrots, and lettuce absorbed medications such as antidepressants and seizure drugs during the experiment. However, the edible portions of tomatoes and carrots contained much lower levels than the leaves. The findings help researchers understand how crops process contaminants as wastewater reuse becomes more common.

just yesterday (in online book reading session) we looked at Page 19 (under Physics section) of the "Science in Sanskrit" book which mentions the following

belated or early?

 it was probably the first day in 2025 when i was least expecting or prepared for this snow/driving conditions ❆☃ (unusual, since winter in my opinion is ideally from 21st Dec to 21st Mar)

so 🤔 was it weather's way of making us "April fool" belatedly -or- was it early "April fool" by the groundhog on 2nd Feb 🤣

nature is forgiving!

we received the orchids on 23 Aug 2024 .. and it had flowers already which gave it a nice look for about a month or two ... the upkeep as prescribed was interesting - you put couple of ice cubes in the pot once every week .. since the frequency is not "daily" it was little tricky to remember - but the visible signs (of smiling flowers) helped us remind in some way .. and then one by one the flowers started to fall off .. and then it was only bare stems .. this is when we lost track .. we did try with hope that one day they will start blossoming again .. and tried to keep up with the routine of feeding the plant with few ice cubes every week

 

then the season of winter sets in - figuratively as well as literally .. and we felt it has nothing more left in it. without much difference to notice we felt our act of watering (with ice cubes) was of no use .. and somehow we had probably "written off" the plant in our thoughts .. we did not have the hopes but we did not have the courage to let go as well .. and once in a month either of us would still put the ice cubes .. and look at the current (status) picture -  we were happily surprised (after hibernation of some 4 months?) to see it spring back to life with more flowers (and buds) then it earlier had .. we realized - nature is so much forgiving? .. even if we miss our duty, it doesn't stop from nurturing us ... even more interesting - since it is still very cold and snow covered outside !

how do you cross a river ...

.. from one shore to another ... without swimming or boating? (not even paddle/dive) .. you can walk on it! (provided it is frozen - just wait for the time and opportunity) :-)

this is something that usually happens every year - at least the weather is cold enough for sufficient period of time .. i guess, we walked on frozen credit river some 15 years ago as well :-) see here

 3 of us from our evening yoga group (www.99yo.ga) walked about 5km starting 5am in the morning to a nearby lake (in Port Credit) and watched the sun rise ... (return was also on foot - making it morning walk of 10+ kms)

while official start of the 'Fall' is 3 weeks away .. seems half the leaves have fallen already?!
