scams galore!?

 I had heard of "invoice scam" earlier .. but was surprised to actually receive one physical printed in our mailbox recently (on a pink slip) 😮 https://us.cibc.com/en/privacy-security/banking-fraud/frauds-and-scams/fake-invoice-scams.html

And then .. other day someone called my wife pretending to be calling from a big organization we trust - with of course caller ID masked to match

And the latest was extra ordinary - we both were sitting on the dining table and then she ran to pick her phone just to figure out someone was calling her with my phone number/picture as caller 😀

I feel the fast developments in technology (Gen-AI and all) is going to increase a lot of "business" for scammers .. we need to raise our collective consciousness to make sure that सर्वे भवन्तु सुखिनः 🙏
