belated or early?

 it was probably the first day in 2025 when i was least expecting or prepared for this snow/driving conditions ❆☃ (unusual, since winter in my opinion is ideally from 21st Dec to 21st Mar)

so 🤔 was it weather's way of making us "April fool" belatedly -or- was it early "April fool" by the groundhog on 2nd Feb 🤣
